Throw it down the nearest ditch or cliff and say that you lost it on the bus consequently someone stepped on it and it was a really big kid and afterwards it broke. Then you lost it again and then you couldn't find it.
Are you on a monthly plan? If you are, and if the plan have already expired, or is about to expire. Call the company, give an account them you are thinking of getting a new phone, and other companies are offering a large amount....ask them what they can do for you...if they can't do anything, you will switch carriers.
They will do something for you, trust me...if the rep say no, ask to speak to a manager. For me, I call them with 2 months disappeared on my contact, it only took 10 second, they told me I could go to any Telus store, and return with any phone for free...
So I got a Moto Q, which is a $600 phone, for free, and adjectives I had to do be keep my existing contract.
