What are the pros and cons of have a cell phone at college?

Pro - latch key kids that necessitate to stay in contact near a parent (This isn't a bad thing)
Con - Easily cheating on exams next to silent text messaging.
The pros of it are, if in that was a problem going on at your university, such as a shooting, you could call a relieve service such as 911 immidiatly. Also, you can call your loved ones and agree to them know what is going on and what your status was. If you're away at home at any time, it is drastically necessary to enjoy your cell phone, anything can happen. You'll want a cell phone to cause that phone call to give support to the entire situation.
The cons of it are, if students are fidgeting beside their cell phones during class and not paying attention, that take away their learning time and they may hold trouble with that class. Also, the cell phones would disturb the teacher or other students if it is constantly out.
Personally, I believe cell phones should be allowed. Even though it isn't allowed, I bring mine everyday.
When cell phones first come out, schools prohibited them.
What happen? Either they are ok with them in a minute, or kids just brought them anyway and they offer up.
A PHONE at school?? What big-hearted of crap is this? Kids can use them to cheat, to call kids instead of LEARN.

Kids can phone parents for a ride or if they have to stay belated they can keep contained by touch with home.

Ringing in class.
Using it inappropriately. (calling from class, bathroom, texting, etc.)
Games are on most phones.
Higher cell phone bills because it will be used more.
Kids who can't afford phone or don't enjoy one may feel moved out out.
Teachers will start to feel similar to they can use theirs all the time too.
Less erudition, more kids will keep checking their phone.

in good health there's texting which for me has other mad class walk buy a little faster and you obtain to talk to general public even if there no within your class.Also you can always show stale in front of the population who don't have mobiles! kid but the cons are if you forget to put it on vibrate and your phone go off you hold to give your phone to the trainer for and you don't (for me ) get it fund till you pay a 20 quid fine
