Answers: IM'ing does pocket from your text message plan. That's why I don't bother have the IM featured turned on my cell phone, that and the certainty that somehow my daughters friends got a hold of my IM entitle and started IM'ing me so it was easier basically to not utilize it.
If you are going to use IM or do more texting you might want to look into a different text plan. I own the same one as you which is more than plenty for me. My daughter has the subsequent one up which is $10 a month and you get 500 paper messages and unlimited texting to Verizon customers only. The subsequent one up from there is $15 a month and it is 1500 article messages & unlimited texting to Verizon customers only. After that near is a $20 a month plan which is 5000 text messages & unlimited to Verizon customers merely. There may be more but my brain can recall anymore than this (memory bank are full).
