I own an mp3 on my computer that I want to distribute to my cell phone as a ring tone, how do I do that?

I have an mp3 song on my computer that I want to use as a ringtone on my cell phone. How do I bring back it to my phone for use? Please help me someone. Thanks within advance and God bless you.

did your phone come with a cord to hook it to the computer? A lot of the newer ones do... What you do is hook it to the puter, run the softwear that comes near the phone. Somewhere in that program at hand may be something that shows the programs on the phone itself.... Go to the where the ring tones are kept... and consequently place it there... that should work.
