Cingular cell phone insurance fraud?
I didnt purchase the insurance, but can't folks that do purchase it lie and vote their phone was stolen, repay $50 and get the up to date phone and give it to someone or provide it on ebay for $400?

The problem is respectively phone has an individual serial number so when it is attempted to be activate Cingular will be notified.
There are ways of getting around this though.
I certainly have this protection since I enjoy a Blackberry that is commonly stolen and incredibly expensive to replace.
i guess you could but they could prove they bought it from you through ebay
they can get the imei # from it when you use it so they can probably seize more information than that
make sure the blackjack is covered i have my 8525 for 2 months paying insurance on it until i read the contract saying it be one of the phones they do not cover .
