Cell phone insurance fraduing question?
I was at the att store upgrading to a fresh Samsung BlackJack and the rep told me that for $5 a month, I can have my phone insured against aggravated burglary, water plunder, drops, or anything else possible. All I would need to do is compensate $50 for a deductible and bam, a new phone shipped.
I didnt purchase the insurance, but can't populace that do purchase it lie and influence their phone was stolen, clear $50 and get the foreign phone and give it to someone or go it on ebay for $400?

In most cases, when someone say their phone was stolen, a flag is placed on that phone's esn or other identify numbers. If someone tries to put that phone on an account, it will show up surrounded by the system as fraudulent.
