Do i really hold to compensate for...?
u see, i have my nokia n80 serviced 3 months back.
it be still under warranty so repair be FOC.
problem: blank display when phone is slide up and down. will return to screen after several second.
now, same problem but 12 months warranty is out.
"according to policy", nokia trouble centre desires me to pay $120
for repair.
BUT, i didnt drop the phone or anything!
Doesnt that show that they didnt do a good livelihood when the phone was sent for servicing the first time round??
Is it right that i own to pay for the repair payment??
What can I do??
***frustrated***
pls advice.
gratitude.
Answers: Yes, unfortunately you will hold to pay the excise.
A one year warranty on something that gets handle up to hundreds of times a day is outstandingly reasonable. The warranty covers factory owner defect, and after one year I ruminate your phone did just fine. What you're experiencing presently is just wear and gash. It happens.
usually adjectives work done has a 3month serviced warranty so you could try arguing that. (well reputable service agents do anyway)
However alot of companies in our time repair/replace your phone under warranty but its still with the sole purpose under warranty for the remaining length of time from original proof of purchase
