Activating a replacement phone?

I bought a cell phone similar to the one that I have that broke. (Cingular wouldn't replace it for free.) I want this one activate and the other turned off. Same plan, no switch as it is the same clear and model. How do I do this?


Answers:    All you need to do is correction the SIM card from the old broken phone to the different replacement phone.
