Answers: Call T-Mobile and have them transport you a unlock code to unlock the phone. As long as you are more than 3 months with them, they will provide you a code for it. Otherwise, you can search out on line for the code. I did that and be able to unlock my ATT Samsung D807 to use for T-Mobile. I enjoy a T629 as well. I hold both T-Mobile and ATT services, I prefer Tmobile as their customer service is stronger and plans are less expensive next to sometimes better coverages.
look for it on the at&t website. I wouldn't reccomend getting a plan from at&t because they have really discouraging plans and have horrible acces to everything. Tmobile or verizon will suit you better.
Yes you can clear it work...try to find an asian store or google search how to unlock a phone.
It'll work since both tmobile and attt/cingular use sim cards.
