IPhone: How do I make a payment custom Ringtones?
Just get a iPhone I want to add custom ringtones i.e my own mp3s from itunes. But I don't know how to do it. Anyone know a guide that will work beside Version 1.1.1 of iPhone.
I know you can do a 30 sample using itunes but I don't know how to do it.

i get the info below from someone on here when my hubby had an iphone.
you can use any 25sec clip, but no you don't move it contained by iTunes. You'll create the clip and then put in it to your iTunes library. In iTunes right click on it and convert it to AAC. This will create a .m3a file on your computer. Go support to Windows and find this .m3a file.
In the report structure there should be a folder for Ringtones (if you don't hold a Ringtones folder just create one). Once you move the clip into your Ringtones folder, adjust the extension to .m4r (you may need to see your folder options to see report extensions).
After it's an .m4r file, step back into iTunes and tag on it to your library. It should automatically be placed into the Ringtones category in iTunes. Make sure it's checked and after sync.
Best thing is to download a programme call Wavepad. Use it to open an ACC wallet from Itunes library. Shorten it to 29 seconds or smaller amount and save as M4A.
Open folder manager and rename database to M4R and double click it, it will open contained by itunes and appear in ringtones. Sync your phone and chose your created ringtone.

best course i have found is by blue tooth and the cheapest agency. Other then that you can connect to a computer and use the supplied front and sofware to do it. Or if it wasent yo could by it from the phones manufacture or your local open market or phone shop.
