How do you remove the spinal column of the sony ericsson S500i (its not contained by the brochure!)?
Answers: I own a w580i with alike problem. Here's how I open it near moderate success:
Turn bad your phone or put on key lock up to that time attempting. I suggest turning it off.
#1. Hold the phone using your index and thumb from the top and bottom to maintain the slider from moving.
#2. With the back side facing you and the cover facing away, grasp the phone beside your other hand, index and finger around the front holding the moved out side and thumb on the cover.
#3. Place the base of your thumb (the subdivision with your fingerprint) a bit forward of the the module that is the phone. Make sure your thumb is within contact with the center-line of the freestyle covery. Push with a prompt "down and out" motion applying quite some force. Maintain the downward and forward force as okay as the speed. Pray that the pattern on the rear cover will add some friction as all right.
That should get it spread out. You might want to get a piece of plastic or string to put contained by there and tug on for the subsequent time. It's inconvenient but you know it isn't going to come off any time soon, whether you want it to or not =P
have a problem with my sony ericsson as ably. just drag the freestyle cap forward by applying a great force. it'll pop out. I don`t know it works, i dunno. good luck trying.
