Okay well this is my frist time beside a carrier resembling plan deal. Well i own an upgrade comming in oct. Im not so sure how it works. ( i enjoy sprint by the way) . Well the phone i have presently was 250$ and very soon with my upgrade comming can i go and get the razor 2 ( which is 250$) for no extra fee. ( excluding the activation fee). And would it rework anything that the razor 2 is modern ?

The cost of your current phone is not relevant when you upgrade. When October comes you will be able to gain the RAZR for the same price they volunteer new customers that sign a contract. Usually explicitly a deeply discounted price.
You will also be required to extend your contract.
