Why do you have to salary so much money for an iphone when your getting a 2 year contract with them...Usually the phone comes free when you seize such a contract, someone please explain

With At&t the only phones you win free are the cheaper older models. This is Basically what my iPhone bill is resembling

20.00 - Cost for Unlimited Internet, 100 or so Text Messages and email
$$$$ -Cost for my monthly minutes.
If you are already a At&t their is only an new 20.00 cost to use all of the great features on your phone.
If your not they own bundle packages that start at 50.00.
it's about $300 or more
