I made many phone call to 1-8OO-555-TELL and each nickname Verizon charged me 1.29. I called them and they said when making a bid to a 800 # on a cell phone the caller is charged a payment all call. Is this true?

If the number is not toll free then yes that is to say true. Toll free means within is no charge to call the number...you own to listen/look for this in commercials. Some are sneaky! :)
