If I locked my Ipod touch and forgot the password. What do I do?

I locked my Ipod Touch but forgot the password. I know that there are three option.
1enter code
2connect to original computer and disconnect
3reset the ipod
I prominently can't do option 1 and i can't do chance 2 because the computer i used to set up my ipod touch crashed. I don't want to do option 3 because i don't want to lose my songs.

Is leeway 3 my only choice??
Please give a hand


Answers:    resetting just vehicle hold the top and the home button for 10 seconds and the apple logo will come up. you don't lose songs. if it's restore, you lose the songs and it syncs to the library it's connected to.
