Playing CDs?
I have tried converting my music files to MP3, wma, cda and current, but none of them will play on this particular piece of equipment
Any suggestions?
Answers: My understanding is that you are basically trying to find the correct file format to text your music files onto "traditional" audio format CD's.
I believe that the file format is any a CDA file, WAV wallet, or PCM file format. When you dictation this, you absolutely own to burn it into a "read only" CD, as a disc player that old will not take in a "rewritable" CD. After you burn the disc, you will have to close the session, so that it looks approaching a standard audio CD to your compact disc player. More information can be found about that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAV and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Book_%2...
You may only just want to find a more user friendly CD burning program that have the simple option "Do you want to transcript this as an audio CD" or “Do you want to record this as a facts CD”. I think Nero, Roxio, and most other popular programs hold that feature. The easiest entry you can do is to try a program called Easy CD-DA Extractor, which is a program that one of my co-workers rave about. You can download a 30 year free trial from http://www.download.com/3000-2140_4-1073...
Another option, as Twilight Doom have mentioned above, is to buy yourself an IPOD or similar product, and play it through the auxiliary jacks in the stern of your stereo.
You can also buy a "personal" CD player that plays MP3 too, and purely plug that into your system. The personal CD player would be significantly cheaper than the IPOD.
I have a sneaking suspicion that that pretty well covers adjectives of your options.
