How do you put songs onto itunes but not enjoy them on your ipod?

My ipod only hold 950 songs and i want to be capable of select which songs go on my ipod lacking deleting them from itunes. Please back...

yeah. the guys below me are dumb. Do you really want to go surrounded by and check every song you don't want? Thats a rediculous amount of work. Especially if you have 10,000 songs. With brochure update you click and drag the songs you want to your ipod. Its super easy that means of access. Go to the link below and it will show you how to set your ipod to manually update.
Make the box subsequent to them unchecked and they won't move anywhere.
