New iPod Classic vs Creative Zen Vision:M?

I am tossing up between buying a Creative Zen Vision: M (60GB) and the new iPod Classic (80GB).

Battery go: i've heard of frequent iPods only enduring a year or less and later dying, is this common? If reports are true the trial player can play 30 hours of music on one charge. Though I have other heard that the reported battry duration from one charge for ipods is much greater than actually freestyle life. Is this true, and is it equal for the new iPod? What ACTUAL battery-operated life should be expected?

Size and Design: I must right to be heard the iPod much outways the Creative Zen.

Price: iPod wins

The other issue I own is that I own a windows vista computer and I dictation a lot of TV on my computer that I would resembling to watch on my player. The Creative seem to win in this respect, unless it wouldn't be too difficult (and free) to convert adjectives my videos (esp. the Media Centre video format (dvr-ms)) to work on the iPod.

Anything else I should know?
Which one would suit me better?
Thanks :)

Reviews of zen delirium M

However, i had also found some reviews around ipod and they are all below!Look down!

It is incredibly weaken and intuitive design, beautiful LCD, supports photo and video playback, seamless integration next to iTunes, which boasts the biggest music catalog and a new video store, smooth video, lots of extra features, such as a world clock, a stopwatch, and PIM applications a galaxy of bits and pieces designed for the iPod

However it has no extras included, such as a dock, A/V cable, or a power adapter. POOR BATTERY LIFE FOR VIDEO, slight delay when playing video, no guarantee that your non-iTunes Music Store video will play on an iPod, even after using converted third-party software. Although video looks great, poor video mobile life and a relatively small eyeshade hamper its appeal to video head.
In this case, it adjectives comes down to personal preference. I, for one, am a Creative guy. I love the Vision:M, and would recommend it to anyone lacking hesitation. However, if apple's claims of a 30 hour freestyle life on the iPod classic are true, I'd speak this poses a compelling case for purchasing the iPod. My biggest pet peeve around the previous iPod was the certainty that it had such a grim battery natural life (and that it only supported resembling 4 different file types (mp3, m4a, mp4, and bitmap). Either method, you'll get a glorious quality player that will gratify you music cravings.

Hope this helps, and lively shopping!

if you're so concern about the iPod's battery-operated life, the merely to prevent that is... when you buy one charge it first for nearly 4 hours before using for maximum production...
