How long does it thieve to charge an ipod shuffle?

Is there anything wrong here, because my brand fresh ipod shuffle is going on almost 4 hours now charging beside the orange street lamp still on.

Note - my computer popped a message up recommending to use a faster USB port. Maybe that's slowing it down?

sounds approaching you are using USB1.1,it can be a bit slower,otherwise usb version 2.0 should charge it within 45 mints.
may be you can buy a house charger for that.....!its cheap around 20 euros...
