Answers: Most places will take items pay for within 30 days next to a receipt. You might even go and get store credit if you lost the receipt but enjoy all the covering. If you don't have receipt/packaging, I deliberate you'll be out of luck.

I have a friend who bought the 2nd gen the year before the current one came out and they mentioned nought about it to her. She be really angry and called the store a year later. They said that if she hadn't taken it out of the pack they could have exchanged it but as it be they would have to charge a 10% restocking charge. She chose to keep the 2nd gen.
I be in your exact situtation. I bought the 2nd contemporaries iPod Nano Special Edition Product Red around August 15th-20th of 2007. Come September 5th apple says that hold completely redesigned, updated, etc. the Nano. I'm thinking to myself what a bunch of fuc**** bulls***! There is no way I merely spent over $200 on an iPod and now am not going to enjoy the latest one. Unfortunately Apple will NOT permit you exchange for the new Nano. I sold mine as "brand new" on Ebay the light of day after the new ones be released for $160. So I basically lost almost $50 because I didnt buy my iPod for another month. It's a bunch of bulls***.
P.S. I own the new 8GB nano immediately. It's really nice lol.
i just read that the iphone return policy be 2 weeks--i don't know if that is a standard Apple policy on adjectives items or not.
