Can you bear songs from a exotic itunes and put them on an existing ipod minus updating it? and if so how?

Answers:    First you want to make sure it doesn't sync up near your iTunes. If its a new configuration and never be hooked up before, it will ask you if you want to sync it, basically select no (or more to the point, click on 'manually manage my music') and it will give up your job your iPod as it is. Then you just drag the songs you want to the iPod.

If you Sync it, unless the iTunes have exactly the same music as the iPod, you will lose stuff, especially if the ipod have a lower capacity (a 1 GB Nano will one and only hold the first 1 GB of music from your iTunes.) Hope that makes sense.
