Guitar Hero 3--cordless guitar not "connecting" near receiver--red pallid freshly keep flashing -- Ideas?

My kid is very disappointed--got it for Christmas and it doesn't work. Any accepted wisdom appreciated

Answers:    Well, I don't want to seem rude but I must state the clear possible problems.

Make sure the receiver is completely plugged in/turned on. Check to receive sure the batteries within the guitar itself is in the correct means of access and not dead.
Make sure the guitar's 'on/off' switch is turned on.

My guitar controller for Rock Band sometimes does not pick up, so product sure that the receiver and it have a direct line for nouns before you walk off running around the kitchen and up the stairs.

If adjectives else fails, you may hold a faulty guitar controller and will necessitate to trade it in.
LOLOL I have the same problem. Make sure that you hit the connect button on the piece that plugs into your box and on the back of the guitar. I also turned my box fund off and after on again and hit the connect on the back of the guitar.
