Does have more coverflow pics embezzle up more memory on the ipod?



Answers:    Yes, but it's minimal.

I couldn't find anything about it on the Apple support page, but you shouldn't worry roughly speaking it.
If you have a huge library you might hold 50MB of pictures or so, and that's nothing compared to the size of your library.
Of course. Having more of anything take up space.
