IPOD for an 8 year ripened?

I deem its a good perception for an 8 year old, getting them interested surrounded by music is a great thing. Just engender sure she is setting an appropriate volume so it doesnt hurt her ears, and monitor her song choices to lyrics you find acceptable.
When I be 8 years old (which be only 10 years ago) the most expensive entity my parents bought we was possibly some kind of outfit. Why would you buy a 2nd grader something expensive when their attention span is approaching 10 seconds? And it will be lost inside 2 days!

an iPod nano, or a cheap 79 dollar iPod shuffle. in reality the suffle is pretty cool its 1 GB, but shes too young for one. better edify her how. she is better off near the shuffle, coz she cant fill 240 songs at that age.
I don't presume that it would be wise to buy an 8 yr hoary an iPod, but if you must, get her an iPod shuffle. They're $79.99, and you can go and get them in several different colers, and you can set a volume mark out.

I say distribute her a shuffle its the cheapest one and is basically an mp3 player. An 8 year out-of-date I'm guessing doesnt need to own more then 500 songs on her ipod.
My son is 8, he is the proud owner of the Ipod Shuffle. He finds it unforced to use and since it has a built within clip he just clips it to his shirt and uses it adjectives the time. Plus since it was with the sole purpose like 80 bucks i won't fell to impossible if he does lose it.
