Ipod problems?

I use winamp instead of itunes to organize my ipod (itunes made my computer really really really slow) and im still kinda brand new to winamp. I tried playing videos but the picture doesnt show but the song is playing. ALSO.. when i put it on my ipod..it doesnt play the video. Instead, on my ipod, the song is below the "Music" menu instead of "Video" menu and just plays resembling a regular song instead of a music video. help? :S

ALSO.. is nearby another GOOD alternative to iTunes?

by the way, i enjoy a 30 GB ipod.


Answers:    There are loads of free programs, if you go to http://www.download.com and rummage for iPod, then select Free, underneath licence and click filter a list of free programs will be shown. If the Video profile doesn't play on the computer or the iPod it is likely to be the wrong format, use this program to convert Video http://www.download.com/wm-converter/300...
and you can download a Media Player to be precise fast on the PC call VLC, it will play virtually all kind of music, video and also DVD's, it is free here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ you can test your video on that.

It blows away iTunes, is easy, rushed, and doesn't make your computer adjectives slow like itunes does. Also, it is designed ESPECIALLY for the iPod, not resembling winamp, which just have a plugin.
