it's better quality, and may contain much more memories surrounded by it.
There is no real better memory card near pratically all alike and mostly come out of the same factory next to different labels on them..
If You Had to choose progress for sony , it is known world yawning so you will never have a problem if anything go wrong with it

Sandisk is cheaper, i use sandisk and it hasn't failed me on the other hand. on the contrary my sony memory card go bad, can't read aloud why, big names are not other best .
In germany you get 2 yrs guarantee on anything . so i influence decide by the cost, they would both serve you. and carry a guarantee
Sandisk do different types of memory cards, SD, xD, compact flash, etc.. to my knowledge Sony singular make their own MemoryStick products, so it depends on your application.
I've used Sandisk for SD and Compact Flash memory cards and they own been model.
They are both outstanding. Research the reviwes, and see which will work best for you. I have adjectives sandisk. I have the ultra 2 contained by both 2 and 4 gig. They are hurriedly & reliable. lemme report u sandisk ar the best memory card manufacturers within the world. sony has a repo of producing great gadget but memory award goes to sandisk, they are affordable, immobilize and KEWL!! u can convert a normal sized sandisk card into a micro SD card, this is wat technology is! so step for SANDISK!
Basically , Scandisk's main appliances surrounded by the market are memory cards so i surmise their quality standards will be high than that of sony who dont concentrate only on commerce mc's ............ this is just my thought ....
