How come on some ipod touches you can make the addition of calender events and contacts straight on the device?
so heres the deal:
my friend jessica have an ipod touch that she bought from the United States (we live in Canada) around December 15th, and you can give contacts straight on the thing short having to move about through itunes...
my other friend dan also has an ipod touch that you cannot do that....he bought his surrounded by canada very soon after we recieved them...around october 15th or so..
why can you do it on one but not the other?? i want the one that you can include them and i want to try and get one that you can....can anyone relay me why?

Answers: The 1.1.2 updated firmware allows you to make the addition of contacts.
even if the model of the ipod is 1.1.1 it's ok just be in motion to contact and on the upper right corner (under the battery) there will be a + sign stroke there and it will organize you to add current contacts fill contained by the information like autograph phone number etc.
for the calendar same thing dance to calendar and on the upper right corner (under the battery) there will be a + entity tap in that and fill within the information your gonna put like location etc.
