How can I recount if i'm contained by a wi-fi nouns for iPod touch?

Yeah, so I might be getting an iPod Touch for Christmas. What I'm wondering is: How can I tell if I'm within a wi-fi area, and How would I seize the internet on the iPod Touch? Thanks <3


Answers:    You can go to Settings -> WiFi and turn WiFi On.
It will scan for wireless networks, and auto-connect if you're inside range of a free public WiFi hot spot. If it fonds multiple networks, it will display them and agree to you pick one.

Also has advanced settings for encrypted WiFi networks, or those that don't broadcast their term. Quite easy to use - easier than most laptops (except for a few WiFi networks that require Flash player to login.)

Once WiFi is ON, the major screen will display a signal strength indicator, and you can surf using Safari, Watch YouTube video, or Shop at the iTunes WiFi store...
