I-pod backing. So confusing!?

Okay. I am trying to figure out how to delete songs, in need deleting them from the library. I don't know how to catch to my songs. Also, I took it off automatic.
Oh and I hold an i-pod nano. If you want to know more details just relate me what you need! Thanks. I really could use the give a hand!

Answers:    to delete them off your ipod in need delteing them from you libary uncheck the songs you don't want and them update your i pod them they should go away.
newly go on itunes...i suggest its pretty self explanatory
