I have a 1970s authentic 8 track player/am/fm player and recorder.I just enjoy the reciever,and it has power and the 8 track player works fine,but in that is no sound.What mode of speakers do I need?It have speaker plug ins in the posterior.Can i just buy a cheap double act at wal mart?Any help would be appreciated.

It wouldn't hurt to try. Speakers have principally stayed the same, except some modern electronic ones.
Why don't you jump to an auto scrap patio and get some speakers? They are purely plain mag speakers.
When I was a youthful man, we used to steal the drive in movie speakers, consequently hook them up in our vehicle! hahahahahah great fun! You bring back allot of outdated memories. Thanks.
