How do I verbs music from my stereo to my computer so I can burn my antediluvian LPs etc to disc?

I have an HP Media Center PC beside RCA inputs in the front.I don't know what software I own (if any) or if I need to purchase some.


Answers:    If here is a headphone socket on your cassette player then it's flowing. You will need a cable near a stereo jack plug (3.5mm) at each extremity. You will also need a record programme, I use audiograbber which is a free download. Then plug the cable into the headphone socket on the tape, and the strip in socket astern your computer. Start Audograbber and under directory select line within sampling. Start off near the tape volume rightly low and adjust till the recording level are OK just to theory test. Obviously the same applies to a record player. Then simply text to your computer. If you wish to convert to MP3 you will want an encoder, the instructions for downloading this are in Audiograbber. Hope this help.
