The iPod that I have is an outmoded 20 GB model. Whenever I try to turn my IPod on an image comes up saw that I need to plug it into a wall socket. I can't do anything else beside it. Even if it is fully charged I can't listen to music or play around with it.
Answers: Try these, surrounded by this order:
1. While its connected to the USB cable, reset the iPod by holding down the Menu + Select (center button) for 6-10 second until you see the Apple logo.
2. Quit then restart iTunes near the iPod connected.
3. Restart the computer with the iPod connected, and launch iTunes at startup (if it doesn't start by itself). Make sure the iPod isn't locked (hold isn't on) when its connected. Hope it help...
