Damaged iPod Screen --- Suggestions?
Long story short, the iPod basically can't function because the eyeshade is broken.
Does anybody know if I can send my iPod into Apple and if they can repair it? How much would it cost? Any other suggestions?
On top of that, I figure I could just use my dated mini for the time being, and lucky me, I turn it on and it instantly dies because it hasn't been charged surrounded by awhile. But, when I went to charge it, it doesn't show that it's charging. No freestyle box shows up at alll.. is this because it hasn't been used or awhile, or is that broken too?
Answers: Hi. The same item happened to my iPod. What I did is I took it into the Apple Store and told them and they give my a brand new one for $130. My suggestion is to go to the Apple Store and transport your iPod and tell them what happen. Chances are they will give you a untried one cheaper. Good luck! :)
Sometimes they'll just impart you a new one if it wasn't your failing.
