Minidisk Player Recorder Deck?
Answers: A Minidisc can store anything up to 80 minutes of music on standard play, and many machines own LP facilities, close to a VCR. However, it's pretty much a dead format immediately, as most folk use their PC to copy CDs, or use MP3 players.
I've got a Minidisc deck, and it give good nouns quality, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy one nowadays.
Yes, you can fit a integral CD on a minidisk.
I similar to the MD format because it is so much easier than CD to bowdlerize. You can record for up 160 minutes in need changing disks if you select Long Play. My Sony mini personal stereo has never be reliable at playing or recording MDs (it locks up and won't eject) but I've get a couple of full-size Pioneer Hi-Fi separates that are excellent. It would be my format of choice if it hadn't become virtually obsolete.
