I own a stero and it have suddenly stopped playing CD's..?

What has happen. I have have it for a few years but it is of good talent and has worked great up until immediately, did I do something? Can it be fixed?

Answers:    Probably not worth fixing. I had a Sony disc with AM/FM radio do that after I'd owned it merely over a year. And I didn't really play it that much.

Anyway, it just quit playing CD's. I'd throw it away, but the radio still works.

Like I said, it's probably not worth fixing. They don't cost much to replace.
Try a lense cleaning cd. You can attain them most places that sell cdr's.

this could be something simple as the gears not moving the cd correctly, this is the mostly feasible and can be fixed at any good electronicail repair shop for drastically little.but there it could be the lazer (the most expsive member of the equipment) in wich grip you are mostly going to have to buy a alien one.i would take that down to your local electronicial repair shop and the guy down nearby will be able to let somebody know you exactly what is happening to it.
hope this help
