ITunes aid! (Description below)?

All of my iTunes library has disappeared but I still hold all the songs on my iPod. Is in that any way to verbs my iPod songs onto my iTunes library?

1. plug in ipod
2. minimize itunes
3. move about to mycomputer
4. find ipod
5. select ipod control ( or whatever its called)
6. find the music folder
7. select adjectives music, copy and the paste into itunes
