How do i take documents onto a computer for an ipod?

Answers:    you could put them on a cd and then put them on your computer. i know near is an alternate method possibly using firewire or a usb port where you would entail an interface to connect your record player to the computer.
There is a free program for Windows call AudioGrabber out there:
http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/
It is primarily a disc ripper, but it also allows you to make MP3s using signals from the nouns card's Line-In jack, so you can connect your stereo's turntable output to your PC's sound card and narrative the songs to your hard drive. Once it's on the drive as an MP3, iTunes should know how to take it from in that.

All you will need consequently is a cable going from your stereo's Line-Out jacks to your PC soundcard's Line-In jack. Circuit City or any other audio+computer store should be able to help out you there.
