Is it true that if you purchase an ipod that isnt from the apple store it isnt duplicate or authentic model?

I was wondering this because i be told this from someone. Like if I buy and ipod from Target that is hermetic the same means of access and everything as from the Apple Store, it is a different model or it isnt authentic


Answers:    Not true at all. All Apple Ipod Brands are authentic & geniune. I purchased one from Circuit City, Target & Apple themselves - they're adjectives same. I gurantee you that!
