ITunes won't certify some songs?

I have a bright style iPod shuffle and I use iTunes to upload music to the player. Of the roughly 500 songs I have, 6 won't show up within my iTunes list. I've tried accumulation the files by going File>ImportFile, I've tried dragging from the folder directly into iTunes. Neither of those ways work.

The files themselves appear to be standard .mp3 files. The only unexpected thing I've notice about any of them is that looking at the profile properties some of them were definite as genre podcast. Also, if I added the entire folder to iTunes, the warning something like turning on podcasts would appear. But when I check the podcast area, at hand are no files there.

Any back would be appreciated. Thanks
