Apple ipod nano?
Answers: I purely finished answering this similar question for someone else, so hopefully it help. If your iPod is not showing up at all on your computer (even near iTunes on), then you might have need of to force mount your iPod.

I should caution you, once it's mounted, you should reformat it, so anything save on there on the firm drive (files, etc) should be removed before reformatting.
Do the computers own itunes?
Make sure the computers have itunes later open itunes.
Then plug surrounded by your ipod. The computer should say that it found current hardware, install it and then make clear to you it is now in position for use. Then it should appear in itunes.
What itunes does is download the software to the computer that recognize and allows you to easily use your ipod.
did you download the software that comes next to your ipod?if not thats your problem
you might hold too much hardware plugged into too many USB ports. beleive it or not, some computers won't see some devices if too many USB ports are already human being used by, say, printers, scanner, mice, faxes, etc. Remove some of the devices from your computer and try again.
