Regarding Synchronizing music to mp3 device...?
I enjoy just rebooted my computer...intent wipe everything and loaded a copy of Windows XP again on my computer. I have a Toshiba Gigabeat S and am trying to synchronize music to it...but my computer won't tolerate me!
I am using Windows media player 10 to do so. Here's what happen.
I plug the USB cord into my computer and plug the other end into my mp3 player.
Then, a message pops up that say "The unknown USB Device will function at reduced speed. You must add a HI SPEED USB host controller to this computer to dig up max. performance."
The message also comes near a pop up window that shows adjectives my "Standard Universal PCI to USB host controller" USB slots...and under the one I plugged my mp3 player into is is "Unknown USB DEVICE"
Can someone PLEASE HELP ME!
Before my computer crashed, everything worked fine concerning my mp3 and uploading music from my computer to it. Now it won't work....please help me
btw at hand is no "installation disc" that came beside my mp3
Answers: Your PC's USB ports need better drivers. It sounds approaching they were functioning at dignified speed before, but when you reinstalled Windows, they reverted to 1.1 speeds.
Check your PC manufacturer's network site for the proper USB drivers, and once corrected, perhaps that will pilfer care of the MP3 sync.
