80 gb zune or 80 gb ipod?

should i buy an ipod or a zune, i have a bunch of songs on itunes, but i want a modify out of the ipod, i really like the zune player itself, even tho the software is doomed to failure.

If anyone knows of any virtuous software out there that i can convert my itunes to zune and a suitable dvd converter so i can take dvds and use them on a zune. If none of this applies i am going to buy and ipod a short time ago because it would be easier, than to work aroud the zune software. i really want a zune but if i cant get music on it than whats the point of have it.
