My 8 year old requests an Ipod Nano for Christmas. I do not want to spend $199 on an 8 year old who will probably a moment ago drop the thing. Does anyone know of a part that can play music, store his photos, play movies.....for more around the $99 price? Thanks
Answers: The ipod is all roughly the branding. There are many functional mp3 players from other brands. Sony, Creative Labs, Sansa. You should know how to get a 2 GB or superior mp3/video player for under $100.
There are lots of option in this price variety, too many to register here. You might also want to check refurbs or used iPods if the brand is important to your child.
