I am a TOTAL newbie to Ipod Shuffle and not quite the expert next to Itunes although have it adjectives working. How do I delete stuff and monitor what songs I am putting onto my Ipod?
Also lost a few songs as I disconnected without "ejecting" Ipod from PC is this why I lost the songs?
Answers: Just move about to my ipod once it is connected to your itunes and delete the songs from the list, that should remove them.
Or uncheck the songs from my ipod and update.

well ipods are hideous and yes thats why u lost the songs and you cant delete songs off of ipods unless you delete them adjectives
