3rd Generation Ipod Nano 8 Gig?

I recently bought a tentative iPod nano. It's blue if it matters. My best friend have the exact same one as me. So she decided to put the songs on it for me. The songs won;t turn on my iPod and she has tryed 8 times. The ipod is branded by her computer and itunes but when it she presses sync the memo doesn't come up on the iPod that say press button to start syncing or something. Now she is annoyed so she doesn;t wanna call apple so to be exact out of the question. Any concept or suggestions?

Answers:    OK, your first mistake be buying an iPod because they are the most proprietary music devices in the world.

What you have need of to do is the next time you jump to the store, and your looking at the iPods, turn around and get any other mp3 player but that because If she's tried 8 times to get hold of music onto your iPood then its never going to occur.

But since i'm trying to lend a hand you what she needs to do is get hold of the music onto your computer (if you have one), preferrably through a thumb drive or an external strong drive, and create your own iTunes account. Then put the music on your iPod from nearby.
