I was told by the saloon guys at Circut City that i can plug a 3.5 mm plug into the back of my 6800 pioneer stereo and run it to my glove box to hear my iPod through my stereo system. I grasp that i have to control my iPod using the Ipod, but I can't grasp my stereo to reconize that it is pluged in. I call Circut City back and they said to check if i own the news iTunes magazine and it should work. I checked it and updated it and still nothing. Any thinking??

Does your stereo have a source button that change to Aux. input? On my stereo I had to walk into the menu and turn on the Aux. input before the source button would even correction over to Aux. Do you have the instruction book? I f not you should be able to download it from Pioneer.
