IPod nano 4gb minister to please!?

I have one of the elder 4gb nano's and I brought it off my friend for cheap and shes have it for just a year and it broke on me the excactly like way my 2gb nano did (they are one and the same age and same generation).
Both of them have no warrenty anymore and i hold troubles now coz i cant afford to fix one of them or buy a investigational one till new year and i only downloaded all my christmas songs :(
Please please do you own any advice for my situation...can i fix them myself or something?

Answers:    Well you're 'problem' is uncertain so it is unsure if it is fixable or not by the average citizen and not someone of a qualified profession. My advice is buy a cheap mp3 that will second you until Christmas or burn onto a CD player.
capably u havent sed wats wrong with it so cnt gove u ne suggestions for fixing it .
