Ipod examine..?

I have an ipod shuffle and at hand are songs on it but my computer shows there are no songs on it.
I can still download songs on it.
It plays as economically.
How can I delete all songs and start adjectives overs?
Or is there another style I can solve this problem?

Answers:    restore your ipod
It will take it pay for to factory settings and you can start all over. Make sure adjectives your music is on your computer before you do it though.
own u check if u connect it right or maybe check ur folders
