Does a stereo amplifier do duplicate piece as a headphone amplifier?

Does a stereo amplifier do the same item as a headphone amplifier? I want a new amp for my phone, and I usually use these headphones beside my home stereo system. I was wondering if that would be better for my system than a regular headphone amp. Thanks for the minister to.

Answers:    I don't know what you mean by "headphone amplifier". Headphones other plug into a device that generates an audio signal, and that device have an amplifier built in that provides the power to drive your headphone speakers. If your earphones have a volume control built surrounded by, that control just decrease the signal provided by the amplifier... it doesn't have a vehicle of amplifying it.

If you plug your headphones into your home stereo system, you shouldn't entail anything more.
Your only using pre-amp signals to earpiece since the large power of speaker amplification will engineer you go deaf! Any amp next to 2 watts of power at most should be fine. Anything more than that will cook the voice coil in your telephone and give you audible range problems.
