i need an external microphone that I can use beside my panasonic camcorder (mini mic jack) and my imac garage band (will want a connecting piece of hardware?). i want to record discussions for podcasts, register people for mini documentaries, and story spoken and some singing voice for my original songs. not too fancy - my work will singular go out on the internet so too high-ranking a quality will be dried up - but something much, much better than a USB computer mic. I'm hoping to get something used for around $300.
I'd also close to advice on where on earth to go contained by Sydney (inner west or city preferred) to buy this kind of mic.
